What is a HAUS guest?
HAUS is a system that lets you start STEPN GO with zero upfront cost. By borrowing NFT sneakers from a host (another player) and walking, you receive a share of the earned cryptocurrency (GGT) — typically around 10% — as your reward.

Download the app and sign up
Download the STEPN GO app from the official site below or from your phone's app store.
Open the app, enter your email address, then enter the verification code you receive to log in.
Measure your comfortable pace
Each sneaker has an optimal speed range for earning. Measure your walking (or running) speed in advance.
- Walker: 1–6 km/h
- Jogger: 4–10 km/h
- Runner: 8–20 km/h
- Trainer: 1–20 km/h
Get a code and enter it in the app
Get a guest code that matches your pace from the listings on this site.
Tap the icon at the top right of the app screen, select "ENTER CODE", and enter the code — you're ready to go.
Basic walking rules — 3 guidelines to protect your rating
Hosts lend their sneakers because they want someone to walk the distance they can't cover themselves. Always follow these rules to keep a good relationship!
① Stay within the sneaker's optimal speed range (most important!)
- You earn nothing outside the specified speed range. Watch the meter on screen and keep the right pace.
② Use up your energy every day
- Energy refills every day at 9:00 and 21:00 (JST).
- Each energy point lets you walk for 5 minutes. Walking it all off every day, without fail, is the greatest contribution you can make to your host.
- That said, if you feel unwell or the weather is bad (typhoon, heavy rain, snow), do not push yourself. Rest and leave the energy unused that day. Safety comes first. A short message to your host prevents any misunderstanding at rating time.
③ Always play outdoors
- STEPN GO uses GPS to detect movement, so always press the GO button outdoors.
Guest rating criteria (guideline)
When a rental ends, the host rates the guest from 1 to 5 stars. Everyone starts at 4 stars: ★4 is assigned automatically when the rental ends, and the host can change it to ★1-★5 within 24 hours. Ratings are averaged on your profile and affect your chances for future rentals.
- ★5: Played every day, used all energy, and kept the proper speed
- ★4: Kept the proper speed (standard. You do not have to use up all your energy)
- ★3: Inconsistent activity
- ★2: Barely played
- ★1: Unacceptable (rule violations, no contact, abandonment)
